Important and interesting molecules are categorized into nine different groups such as "Chemical Weaponry," "Controlled Substances," and "Various Organic Molecules." Upon selecting a category, users are presented with several molecules displayed on two-dimensional whiteboards. When choosing a specific molecule, it transforms into a three-dimensional view while interesting facts about it are narrated. Users can interact with the molecule by altering its size and orientation. This application aims to enhance the understanding of molecular geometry principles and offer insights into over 50 significant molecules. 
The traditional teaching of chemistry primarily relies on two-dimensional mediums like textbooks, PowerPoint presentations, or whiteboards during lectures. Despite this, the behavior of molecules and their reactions unfold in three dimensions. A student who struggles to conceptualize or depict molecules in three dimensions may face challenges in their studies. Mastery in visualizing molecules in three dimensions, including molecular geometry, conformational changes, and stereochemical principles, enables a deeper comprehension of chemical and physical properties. This proficiency also facilitates predicting chemical reactivity and drawing organic chemistry mechanisms.
Our solution takes the form of a three-dimensional virtual reality (VR) chemistry teaching tool designed to assist high school and college chemistry students.
